With great respect, I would pull "Beck" from the list of standard stuff, as I think it stands above the rest?

Perhaps it's the cast as well as the mythical stories--Beck, Gunvald and of course the piece de resistance....Beck's crazy neck brace wearing neighbor who always is ready with the non sequitor comment (my parakeet died today!)

Oh "Beck." One of a kind in this Swedish line up, IMHO of course.

And the Rolf Lassgard Wallanders are great, the Henricksen Wallenders close behind.

A couple on your list are stand outs....

As a reviewer said above as a regular watcher of BBC4 from abroad, these shows are still better than alot of dreck on telly.

Then there's.......THE BRIDGE! ha Wo.

Well sorry to hear your getting tired of mostly well done shows. You for got to include The Unit in your list of standard shows.
I assume if I find your review of UK or American shows or our remakes over here....you'd characterize them as what?...great cop shows?
