my take on the ending.

this may not be how it was supposed to be taken, but this is what i think. i think the guy with the scar on his face at the end killed ezio. ezio said how he could not escape his past, and regardless whether he was retired, the templers would kill any mentor.i also think that the boy with the scar is meant to remind us of ezio in way. ezio used to always chase girls around, was fairly cocky, and then the fact that he had a scar on his face. while it still pained me to see ezio go after knowing him for so long, i think this was one of the only ways that ezio could die. he was killed by pretty much the mirror image of himself.
