Not for everyone....but...

I liked it a lot. Depressing in a "Bug" kind of way. It's not one of these uplifting movies. Never heard of this actor until now.

I totally agree. There are movies that are "slow burn", and then there are movies like this. But it was just compelling enough, it advanced just enough, but stayed just static enough, I watched the entire thing without skipping ahead once, which is rare for me these days.

Like Moon, this is essentially a single actor movie, and the main guy carried it solidly. Sort of predictable but in that somewhat infuriating "Oh, you think that's what this is? Maybe it is. Maybe." way, that kept me engrossed. Definitely not an "everybody" movie, and I'm rarely one to watch long, drawn-out movies, but somehow, this offered the right mix for me. Depressing but overall, I really did enjoy this. Kudos to everyone involved.

It's not for anyone .

Comparing it to Moon, well, that's rich .

If it had Moon's budget "which was on the lower end as far as Hollywood goes" and Moon's overall production value Armistice (2013) would have been a mainstream hit.

I enjoyed Armistice (2013) as is more than many high budget films and that says something.
