First post (slight spoilers)

This film is poignant. Whilst mourning the death of their mutual connection, three acquaintances travel to Corsica with the ashes of their dead friend intending to visit the place she longed for the four of them to do when she was alive. On their journey they have past memories and present experiences which consolidate the love for their dead friend and strengthen their connection with one another.

But the film is sad. Death is an inevitability and it can strike at anytime. Life is short and memories are tiny blips in life.

The film exploits many cliches but it's funny and heartfelt and I enjoyed it very much.

A bird sings and the mountain's silence deepens.
