Couldn't get past one thing - Spoiler

the pairing of Booth and McGillion. He's only 9 years older in real life, but looks 20. Booth is gorgeous and he's pretty flabby looking with a prominent double chin. Yep, color me shallow, but it's pretty improbable someone as slim and stylish as Booth was in this movie would wind up with Mr Frumpy.

Other than that very cute movie and the daughter is adorable. Hey, it's a Hallmark movie so you know how it is going to go, but knowing that and seeing how they get there are why you watch. I mean if you are expecting something off formula why are you watching Hallmark?

I've always thought the same thing.
I still find the movie very sweet though and it's one of my must see Christmas movies.

I agree. I also can't get over how he played this character in this movie, single father to an 8 year old and in the newer movie Ice Sculture Christmas, he plays the father of a girl in her late 20s. If I'm recalling correctly, he even had white a bit of gray which made him look even older!!
But definitely can't get over the mismatch here. She's totally out of his league under normal real life circumstances.
