This felt like a long Hallmark infomercial with lots of feel good smiles and nothing real or human to connect with. Even fantasy has to have something plausible to ground it and make it watchable. If I were alone at Christmas without family or friends this "movie" would send me over a cliff. Nothing touching, moving, humorous, or entertaining about this production. Unfortunately IMDB does not have a zero in their vote count.

And every time he played and sang that song he wrote, I cringed. It was embarrassing. His voice, the voiceover, his facial expressions. Ew. It was so bad. Not sweet or romantic IMO. I would have been, oh please stop. You don't have to.... oh ew.
I too was just watching this is the background while doing some online Christmas shopping. Usually LOVE hallmark movies.
I found it quite moving and touching and entertaining. I don't think it was dull at all.
