Marianne Faithfull (Spoilers)

Sorry if this has already been discussed, but isn't it a shame that Marianne Faithfull didn't make a cameo as God?

In fact, the perfect moment would have been when Edina and Patsy are sinking into the pool near the end ... they could have hallucinated that they'd arrived in heaven and God would have appeared and said 'Sorry, darlings, we're not ready for you yet'.

Don't you think?

What a shame ...

"Your times over, *beep*. We're cummin to get ya".

I read an interview - The Guardian, I think - where Marianne said that she hadn't been asked to do the movie but that she thought 'that ship had sailed'

Edit - found it

Came here to ask "where was god?" but you beat me. Marianne was the only "disappointment" cast-wise. I think you have to be an AbFab fan(atic) to enjoy the movie completely, from episode references, established gags (e.g. Patsy being a "man"), new stuff ("what's champagne in French? champignon."), & the goofy plot.
