I can't describe how unfunny and terrible this movie is. How in the HELL did they get some of the cast, such as Beverly D'Angelo, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Lin Shaye, Eric Roberts...??? Did these people have a bad debt to pay or something? Horrible movie all around with some wasted talent.
The fact that there are 22 people who gave this turd a 10 tells me that there are 22 of the cast/crew that voted on this.

shareI completely agree with your assessment of this movie. I think film schools should use "All American Christmas Carol" as a perfect example of what not to do when making a film. I did have to laugh a couple times at how wide shots were framed. The on-screen ensemble would be taking up two-thirds of the screen (say, the left side), while the remaining third (on the right) was simply space. I would seriously buy the book that tells the story about how this movie ever got the green light.
