Review (SPOILERS)

After finishing the movie I have to say I did like it, but I do have to agree with what a few others have said. The acting is terrible.

Now, the story is great, somewhat of a cliche (Wrong Turn, etc.), but, is different in the setting and killers. The film, editing, sound, everything is great. Had a very Texas Chainsaw feel to it (the remake not original).

One scene which was VERY confusing and not sure what the director was doing was when the couple getting married are looking for Nolan. Nolan (or someone) is screaming "Help, Help me!" in the background 3 to 4 times and the couple just look at each other and act like they do not hear or it, or maybe the Director intended on them not hearing it?? It was a very awkward scene because I kept thinking....HEY...your friend is yelling help you two dumb asses are just standing there!!!!

One thing I kinda figures was the small town folk people with their heads covered were cannibals, (Hence name 'Eaters' although I do like the original name the Director had 'folklore') But why were these folks cannibals? Why did they cover their heads and hands? There were a lot of unanswered questions. Also, the ending...the truck driver, was he good? bad? I am assuming the director ended it this way for a sequel. So, even though I am left with questions, I REALLY think the director gets a 9 out of 10 for film, edit, sound, EVERYthing else, but 5 out of 10 for the acting. But, hey these kids are new looking at their profiles, and they are coming into it their own, and I am sure they are having fun. So, kudos to them.

In the end, if you like "Wrong Turn", "Texas Chainsaw Massacre", & "Hills Have Eyes" You will like "Eaters"!!!!!

Looking forward to seeing more from this director!

Dude, this film was 5hit! How can you say the directing was good when you just admitted you couldn't figure out more than half of what was going on? The acting wasn't even close to 5/10.

If you like Wrong Turn and Chainsaw, you will still know this is worthless trash.
