81 minutes of filler for a 10 second punchline? [Spoiler]
Anybody else thinks this whole movie was made because they thought the ending would be really funny, and they had to come up with 80 minutes of film to lead into it?
shareI think the creative spark was that of a found footage film where it actually does turn out that the threat is not paranormal. I even liked the first third, where they show the main characters clashing with the locals and trying hard to deal with this difficult Travis guy, but then it's like you said: The filler starts and it doesn't stop until the last couple of scenes.
As for the Bigfoot joke, I thought it was funny, but I consider the fact that they were being harassed by people, not by a monster, to be the real reveal.
