Spoiler: Q(?) about Katharine Isabelle's character

Katharine Isabelle's character went to the party with the guy that mugged Nicolas, lived in the same apartment building and dated the guy. She also finds Nicolas beaten up and pays for his cab. The movies never touches on the possibility that she was in on the mugging and whether the cab fare was bait to further lure Nicolas in.
