"Indeed, when I visited Pinewood I also noticed how she and the camera were comfortable together. Samantha has a great career ahead of her, but she won’t just be doing musicals.

She wants to do ‘straight’ acting, as well as singing roles.

To that end she won’t be doing the musical film Walking On Sunshine, opposite Kylie Minogue, because she doesn’t want to be typecast as just a musical performer."

It sounds more like a speculation than a confirmation.But if that is true and this is her last movie musical then that put an end to the rumors that Macintosh wants her to be Nancy in a new Oliver! movie.I hope that's true because I think she's better suited for light-hearted roles.

I gave up homework for lent
