I heard some good reviews and some bad ones about this movie so I thought I'd give it a shot. It definitely had some good ideas and there were a few creepy parts but I felt the movies just dragged in so many places.
There were a lot of good ideas I just don't think they were executed very well. I found myself losing interest several times. I did like the ending though.
You might be better served sticking to movies/directors prefering quicker/shorter cuts, no "dragging parts". Plenty out there, best might be Fincher currently.
Bogliano / this type of movie is obviously not your cup of tea (by now), for to work it relies on excellent acting and atmosphere, the outcome I thought was a movie I really enjoyed. It's ideas were executed just fine, I thought.
Just finished watching it now, personally I thought it was good but perhaps I was in the mood for it, if I wasn't I suspect I'd also have been bored at parts.
If it was just thumbs-up/thumbs-down I'd have gone thumbs-up, it was quite unnerving. I can't pick out any single issue other than the lack of fleshing out of the story and the terrible music, that end track has a place and time and I just can't see it fitting in this, maybe there's a reason for it? If so then great, but not for me right now, it pulled me out of the story and had me looking for the remote.
In all I agree with you though, just not your thread title, I can't say I was bored and I'd recommend it to a few of my friends who'd appreciate this
I thought it was a good movie. I dont think it was particularly scary...so if you were looking for scarejumps you didnt get much....but i think it was a different way of telling demon posession
