Fake eyelashes and hair extentions

When they film Nicole after she has completely finished a house, the hair and makeup department put her in large black false eyelashes and ridiculous long, wavy extentions. She looks so good when not "done up" like this, so why do her up so tacky?! I saw one episode where in one shot she had extensions, then they showed a room, then went back to her and her extensions were out; this went on for about a minute! Extensions, house, no extensions, house, extensions, house...

She has said in the past that someone hacked her hair one time when she was young and she hasn't cut it since...BUT her eyelashes are deff fake...I came here just to see if anyone else noticed.
She spends so much time acting like she doesn't care but she must or she wouldn't wear the falsies!
She's still one of my fav girls on HGTV...her and Christina from Flip or Flop.

I agree, she looks too "made over" in the final reveal episodes. And the fake eyelashes look bad, in my opinion.

I'm new to this show, and I like how she is a *real* hottie because she looks good when she is clearly just going about like a normal person working on these houses. As for the staged, preplanned scenes showing off a finished house (and so far I have yet to see one) I just blow that off the show producers thinking they know what's best.

This does remind me of "Flip This House" with Armando and his brother. On one episode I couldn't get past how the show was clearly attempting to create a story and did so by splicing random scenes together and the only reason this was painfully obvious was that Armando's brother's face would randomly change from being goateed, having stubble, and being baldfaced. Boom boom boom. I've known guys gifted enough to grow facial hair fast, but this was ridiculous: we were talking about things that would have been only a couple hours apart at most. There was a lot I didn't like about that show but that is the most amusing thing I noticed.

As for this show I like how she is so positive, does a lot of the work herself, and isn't constantly screaming about timelines and budgets.

Civility is just a warm and fuzzy name for censorship.

I agree. That gets REALLY tiresome in most all of the other shows Stop, already. We get it. Not everything is going to go as planned, and additional expenses WILL crop up as folks go digging into walls and such.
