Sorry - but '30' is OLD.
All I hear these days are the 20-somethings bemoaning the fact that they are about to turn 30.
They're all dreading it.
If I was able to become friends with them before they turned 25, I always tell them 25 is a bigger life-changer than 30. At 25, you can no longer chalk things up to "youthful indiscretion" - oh no - once a person passes 25, they are a fully-fledged adult with all the responsibilities.
But - nevertheless, 30 remains the "point of no return" for today's 20-somethings.

"Don't call me 'mac'... HONEY!"
