1.8?!

1.8?!?! That is the LOWEST score I have ever seen on IMDb. I'm actually really curious to see this movie now.

Now, it's up to a 4.8, but I can't figure out why it would be anywhere that low. I just saw it at a film festival, and the audience was roaring with laughter! I can't see how anyone could give it lower than a 6.

I agree. It screened at the Kansas City Gay/Lesbian film Fest this past weekend and the audience was laughing start to finish. True, the premise isn't original--but the execution of acting, dialog and photography is excellent. This should succeed with any number of film-goers of all kinds. Some of the characters are stereotypical, yes, but very funny, and not offensive to anybody with a sense of humor and a bit of self-recognition.

Well, I gave it a 2 because I thought it was terrible. Mediocre acting, boring story, cliched dialogue. To each his own I guess.

No way one point eight. Despite being uncomfortable watching men make out, I suffered many belly laughs. Smart writing and good acting made the film enjoyable and also enlightening. An easy 6 or 7.

I gave it a 2 that was being nice think of low budget student film kind of quality .See the film but do it when you absolutely are bored out of your skull and have nothing else to do .

My mother would show up on time and know all her lines but who wants to pay to see my mother?

reply

It's at 6.1.

I gave it a 6. It was at 6.1, so my score won't have any impact. I thought it was watchable, and it was OK. I saw Jenn Harris on Difficult People recently, looked her up on IMDB. That's how I found out about this movie. I liked her character; the guy, Matt, was all right. His naiveté was kind of charming, but he was also a bit annoying. idk, I guess better than the typical indie gay movie...
