The ending...

I'm so disapointed with the end. Is Eva still alive?

Run!Bitch!Run!

reply

No she's not.

I'm very dissapointed with the whole film.

reply

No, she is not alive. The scene in the coffin is just an imagination of Young-Jak. I don't understand though why the director needs to show her waking up inside the coffin. Also who the piles of cash inside the coffin are intended for? Eva's children or Young-Jak?

reply

I interpreted it as a pang of Young-jak's conscience because he's using her coffin as a vessel of the money. On the other hand, it could be just Young-jak amusing himself by imagining her waking up.

reply

I would think the cash is for the kids. But in an earlier scene he went on about needing it in death.

The ghost in the coffin ruined the tone of the movie. It would've been a good scene if throughout the movie we had seen anyone's thoughts or imaginings, but to throw it in there at the end is just out of step with the rest of the movie.

I gave the rating of this movie an extra star just because of the entire scene where the two guys fight and he admits he DID have sex with her mother! I haven't been surprised by anything in movies/tv for the last two decades but the tough guy getting his azz handed to him by a silver spoon punk had me laughing so hard and then his wailed admission to the daughter.lol
