Missing sibling

Wasn't Nami's mother pregnant with twins in The Housemaid? Then how come she only has one brother in this film? Was there an explanation I overlooked? I felt kind of bad for her father: in both films, his bastard offspring are aborted. I hope he didn't lose a legitimate kid as well.
