Why Legendary had shelved this movie for two years?

The think is Warcraft at least made $433m worldwide and of that $386m was from foreign. I honestly don't see how Spectral could have made a reasonable amount. If the reported budget is true at $60-70m, I don't even see Spectral making that back. Plus it would have had to make double the budget including the marketing costs to make any profit which again would have no chance. So Universal were very smart in pulling out of domestic distribution.

I enjoyed this very much. It was a pleasant surprise. Liked the special effects, the story, the low-profile acting and the direction.
During the action scenes you get a feeling that the director is shouting "Hey, Marvel, here I am. I can direct one of your movies" LOL
