What's up with the credits?

The credits on the Netflix streaming (US) version of this movie bear no relation to what's out on IMDb, but my question isn't about the IMDb version, but what I saw in the movie's credits. The credits are described as "Cast in Order of Appearance". If your character appeared in the first hour of the movie, then chances are excellent that your name shows up in the credits. I suspect that not all of the 19 villagers, 12 "Zulu tribal" and dozen friends of Bijlee and Baadal who were credited even had dialog. On the other hand, only three actors are credited who don't appear in the first hour. They don't actually seem to be listed in order of appearance as the earlier one's were. And the actors who ARE credited there serve to highlight actors with larger parts who weren't - though "Journalist" is credited, the blind boy Nainsukh who appears in more than one scene, is not. Also, while "Receptionist" is credited, her boss (Matru's friend from university) and her boss's husband Percy Shroff, are not.

Not sure if this is just personal incompetence on the part of one person or if this kind of thing happens more frequently than I think for some systemic reason.

Edit - Oops. Looks as if the character of Nainsukh IS credited, but as first appearing way at the beginning of the movie, specifically in the scene of the first village gathering. A quick review of the scene and I did see the camera zip by him quickly, though as far as I could see that's the extent of his "appearance" in the scene.
