the script - ah that script

It could have been a nice movie if it was actually a good script. Great cast and the directing and music were not bad. But the script was literally a piece of sh...

The story-line was so cliche. The characters so 2 dimensional, and I'd say misogynistic if it wasn't for the fact that the male characters were stereotypical as well. And some of the words in that scrips, some of the incredibly cliche words....ah so bad. The actors especially Fran and Dichen did the best they could to save it and make the characters look real, but it wasn't enough. You can't do anything with a bad script. It's like making a cake and doing everything right but putting salt instead of sugar. The whole thing's ruined.

It looks like a student film, but with that script, I'd fail whoever made it.

This movie is pretty bland all the way through. Felt uncomfortable at times with some of the interactions, and that was even more mystifying considering that we've actually seen many of these actors working together before have GREAT chemistry. Specifically Fran and Dichel who we've seen play fantastic friends on Dolhouse. Some of their scenes were just plain awkward because of the poor script. Jokes that weren't funny at all. Hell...there wasn't anything funny in the movie much other than a few instances, and Fran is a very good comedic actor.

I am not a romantic comedy fan in any sense, but I won't scoff at them if they are at least halfway decent. When I saw so many actors I liked in it and just after watching Dollhouse recently I wanted to see more of them so I figured this couldn't possibly be that bad. I was sorely mistaken. :(
