Mads Mikkelsen

So I recently 'discovered' Mads Mikkelsen when I started watching Hannibal. I have been seeking out his films as a result.

And.. wow. This film blew me away. The story and the characters were so well written. I really felt for a lot of people and could see so many viewpoints (except Grethe, who really infuriated me, and I can see is unpopular with others too).

But Mads really drove this film. His performance is stunning. Grocery store scene, though difficult to watch, was so intense and beautiful.

I hope to see more roles like this for Mads Mikkelsen.

But I just had to look, having read the book..
