Seems like she love or have an agreement on making crappy movies.

I liked Hatchet,Rob Zombie's Halloween and i can't wait to for see no evil 2. Hallows' Eve was a weird movie, maybe she is doing projects like this just for some quick cash.

Did you notice the estimated budget for this movie was $300,000?
Even if she got paid the extraordinary rate of 10% of the total budget, that would only be $30,000. Not much at all.

I do see that she was in a lot of projects as a child actress, including multiple episodes of ROSEANNE. So, that makes her a grown child actress. That is always a struggle to get noticed, and a transition that many cannot make.
Danielle has managed to keep working, and congratulations for that!

That said, the actor's union probably has some major input on just how much screen time she can have before union wages dictate her pay, and that could destroy the project, so she has short appearances (just guessing here, but the pattern is pretty clear...).

I actually first noticed Danielle when I was watching a SyFy series, NAKED VEGAS, (which is more or less a spin-off from the series FACE OFF, which highlights make-up and special effects artists and their work, in competition challenges). She was doing that (series premiere!!) episode in 2013, titled "Paint The Town, Red", and that series focuses on body painting, with some special effects. That episode made up an entire wedding party as zombies, and the second part used body paint to look like models were wearing lingerie for a Las Vegas show. The episode explained Danielle was a good friend of the woman doing the make-up, and her business was being featured in the series.

I was impressed with how personable Danielle was, and started seeking out her projects after seeing that. (Oh, and she was one of the "body paint lingerie" models, BTW.) IMHO, there have been some highlights, and a lot of disappointments among her projects.
I do suspect Danielle's typically short appearances are due to her longevity in the business, and the low budget projects in particular, driven by union rules. *SIGH*

Maybe one day she will land a project with a bigger budget, and get more screen time, and following projects. It isn't easy to do that in Hollywood, and seems even harder for "child stars".

she has been in great horror movies and bad ones. even in her movies that have a horrible script she does the best acting she can. her characters are always a highlight for any film I see her in

Harris was one of the few good things in this otherwise pretty damn crappy movie.

I'm a totally bitchin' bio writer from Mars!

I've seen every movie she's been that I could get my hands on. There are some good B ones and some bad. She has also been in some major release movies, the Halloween ones for example. The problem with her is lately she is one of the Top Billed but has hardly any screen time. This is becoming very annoying. I come to her movies to watch her, not a bunch of newbs. Not that some of them don't do a good job, but If i'm going to watch a crappy movie I would prefer to see her in a major role.

reply

I don't think she's capable of landing much else at this point
