Loved him as Thorin Oakenshield. However, I found him and this movie unbearable. Richard's American accent was one of the worst I've heard in a while from an Englishman. Please, stick to your native accent, which is much more enjoyable.

I actually thought his accent was quite authentic sounding, but it is one of those roles that you do wonder just why an Englishman filled the part, rather than an American. 🐭
