Ross Patterson is Robin van Persie

Does anybody noticed how uncannily similar is the main character (the dying brother) to the Dutch footballer Robin van Persie? Apart for that, this movie is bad, seriously I don't get how it can be so high rated and have all these positive reviews, maybe it's just me but I found it pointless, predictable and even stupid, sorry to be a hater but it's just what I think.
