shareMy question is how does this chick manage to A) survive the initial attack by this supernatural killer that killed all her friends B) go BACK out to those same woods presumably alone and set up these fairly complex man traps without getting hassled from said supernatural killer before bringing her "friends" into the woods a third time as bait, running the killer through all the traps and getting killed anyway? Why didnt this thing kill her when she was out there in the woods by herself digging pits and carefully rigging up giant tension cages and such... I get not worrying too much about plot holes in simple minded 'found footage' shorts just designed to freak and titillate but this one was too much for me to swallow.

shareEven though I didn't enjoy this segment, I can still defend its merits:
The film is a satire of slasher films and all the tropes that they have; her "bait" was a nerd, a jock, and a slut, the archetypes that all bad slasher flicks have. So she was safe going out there alone because she didn't have her slasher film "bait."
Or something like that. Either way, I didn't like that segment.
I took it more as he isn't there all the time, maybe its an every 3 year (have not watches on a while so I forget the time frame). I thought he was possibly from another dimension and uses ours to get his blood lust in, hence why we cannot see him but he can be hurt.
