The old dead man suddenly missing

Just in the middle of the movie, as we watch some guy eject a tape in the video player and play another one, the old man is suddenly not there.

That seemed like the movie was going to have some coherence somewhere near the ending. But it didn't. The whole house plot was an excuse to hold together a bunch of scary short movies.

And this full-length movie definitely sucked.
