Second Honeymoon: Trading plot for "kewl"

The second vignette, the two honeymooners, was absolutely the most meandering mess of an attempted story I've ever seen.

The attempted creepy slow-burn moments, in which the murderer films the couple in their sleep, is executed without tension and with no sense of emotional context which might provide connection.

As is, it just comes across as a much larger and more interesting plot, condensed down to only the key moments that the writers thought would be most impactful, and as a result we lost what could have been its own competent psychological thriller in favor of a few "kewl" moments that fail to connect or resonate.

But even then, when you think about the implications of that larger and much more interesting plot, and you just wish you'd gotten to see the good version of this story instead of what felt like an extended, spoileriffic trailer.

Trying to shove an entire "Gone Girl" into a few minutes of runtime, apparently, results in a disjointed an nonsensical mess.

Girl was dumb. She was the last person seen with him so she's their number 1 suspect.

Thanks for spoiling Gone Girl for me. :)
