Made me feel like a kid again

I watched a lot of B&W WWII pictures when I was I kid. Steady diet of the "Combat" series. This movie reminded me of those. No great statement about the horror of war, just a competent rendering of a small infantry mission. Am I all hung up on whether the weapons or uniforms were accurate? No, but I wasn't hung up on that when I was eight years old, either. And yet I fondly remember those movies and "Battle Force" brings back those days.
