Darn

This sounded so promising. Could have been our answer to Canada's epic Trailer Park Boys, but I felt like I was watching Fat Pizza. Which I havent liked since I was 12.

The women in this remind me of a bunch of hokey play-actors trying to do a horrible impression of the witches from Macbeth.
The men just seem like his mates (that also flunked out of acting school) who've agreed to do the show for a 50.
How do they all sound like they're putting on fake Aussie accents when they're all actually Aussies? It's ridiculous.

The show has the odd good joke, but it's drowned in so much over-the-top tackiness and exaggerations. Which would be fine, but it's something that gets old fast and there's no humanity in it to keep you interested (like with Trailer Park Boys).

In summary, Australian television is a joke. With the exception of Chris Lilley and a few other gems, we haven't brought out anything truly great in years (you know, that we haven't actively GIVEN to the yanks *cough* SAW! *cough*). The fact that this show is on the air embarasses me.

Biased, but honest.

I'm guessing that you don't come into earshot of bogans very often...

Worst. Rescue. EVER!

You're missing the point - which is that it's all about over the top exaggeration. That's Fenech's style! And as others on here have said, if you've been out and about where the bogans are then you'd realise it's not really that over the top at all.

Trailer Park Boys - now that's an unfunny show. Taking itself too seriously by trying to play it too straight.
