Seen before?

When they got to the part where the army attacked the palace, and they hid then got the record to the radio station for the emperor to talk directly to the people, I realized I had seen that before. But for the life of me I can't remember where I saw it. Is there another movie that depicts that? Or maybe it was on the History Channel or something? If anyone has any ideas, I'd really appreciate it. I'm getting really tired of trying to think of the answer!
