Hating on Melissa
Why is everybody hating on Melissa I think she's great, love all her movies. She is without a doubt the funniest woman in America. Can't wait to see Tammy.

Why is it that everyone who dislikes her has to mention her weight? Can't you think she's not funny?
If she were thin and pretty and acted the same way, would you like her then? (that's rhetorical, I don't really care what your "out loud" response is)
What bothers me is how everyone looks at her as an example of "embracing yourself" when in reality obesity is a serious medical issue that should not be taken lightly.

I agree! Obesity is mostly just due to freaking laziness . If it was really a disease then it would be an epidemic in America because more than 60% of its people have it.
Believing it's "o.k" to be fat is just lazy thinking.

People bring up her weight because she does. When 90% of your jokes are based on you being obese then its hard not to bring up her weight. I'm not a big fan of her, not because of her weight, but because she only plays the one character and all her character does is make fat jokes.

She is an offensive, loudmouth, irate, unfunny, obnoxious, obese, downright stupid, and mentally incompetent fool. She has a tendency to repeatedly play the exact same character. She is a disgrace and shame to not only cinema but also to the world.

Why would you go on to see more than one film with her in it if you feel this way?? Why torture yourself to the point where you are actually calling her names and getting frustrated? Couldn't you figure out she just wasn't for you after the first one? Your post is a bit extreme.
What is actually unhealthy is your hatred for a woman who has nothing to do with you. Nobody forced you to go see more than one movie. There is no way you could determine how "mentally incompetent" she is by watching one of her films.
Those are characters she is playing by the way. It's a shame you feel the way you do about a woman you have never even met.
