Friday afternoon off. Jump on the exercise bike.

Tammy on HBO.

WOW.

Turned off after 20 minutes.

Not a single laugh or chuckle or grin.

Wasn't expecting intelligent humour. Expected goofball humour.

Got ZERO humour.

How does this woman keep getting work?

DISNEY can't be trusted!

Well, in this instance, she and her husband wrote this mess. So they decided they would be the perfect actors for roles in this film. What a surprise.

Not every movie by every actor is a keeper. McCarthy has had some wonderfully funny movies. Her role in Mike and Molly was exceptional.

The problem is not with McCarthy. When she has other people writing for her, she can sometimes be funny. The most talented comedian or comedienne in the world couldn't have made anything worthwhile out of this script... Sure, she wrote it; so maybe she should just leave writing to the professionals?



Same here, lol. I didn't see the first part but turned it on when Tammy's mother was having sex in a car outside of a bar, then the scene continued on after they got back to the motel...still more sex with the same man. Maybe the movie got better but I stopped watching.
