POV aspect is what made this movie

If this movie didn't have the POV aspect this movie wouldn't have been nearly as good. It's because shooting a movie through someone's eyes for the majority of the movie especially through a killer's eyes is innovative. I don't think it's been done like that before. It makes it more unsettling that we are seeing through his eyes.

This was the movies best asset, with out it it would have just been the same thing as the original 80s version. Only because of the POV aspect of the movie is why I consider this one to be superior to the first. Granted it still would have been a good movie but nothing special if it didn't have the POV.

Only people with money say that money doesn't matter.

The POV thing is just a novelty. I was thinking it was cool because I could add this movie to the list of things I can throw on when people come over and have it playing with the sound off and my own music on. Because it's POV people can drop in and out of staring at the screen and it's something quirky. That doesn't really speak too highly of the film though, does it?

I absolutely HATED the POV aspect. Another coffin nail for this travesty.

Can't say since there is no version without POV to watch. I disagree that the POV was it's best asset.

I think so too.

Without it the movie would have been a glossy remake of Maniac without much else going for it to stand out. The POV aspect is gimmicky but quite unique and makes the movie something of a curiosity.
