They call it Chill, and reference a real role-playing game ... but are not even in the ballpark about the game itself.

Looks like they are playing a kind of tag. Did nobody manage to even Wiki what a RPG is?

It honestly wasn't based off the RPG Chill that exists. Or at least as far as the actors are concerned we had no idea of it until the film was completed and one of us stumbled upon it online. The game in the film is based off the children's game "Whose the Werewolf". A lot of the game play was removed from the actual film due to run time. You see a bit of the fake weapons and costumes in the scene in the computer room when Kyle announces Jarred has been killed. Madison, Kent, and Kelly all have costume pieces on which would have connected more to the original game had moments not been cut from the final film.

You see Madison pick up several fake weapons and a few glimpses of the actual game but, with our run-time nearing two hours, we were urged to cut fat and get to the kills faster.

Did that help answer your questions a bit?
