Something interesting about this series, but also kind of clumsy

I liked the feel of the series and the environment, and even certain characters,
but the depths of the backstabbing from these characters, and their leniency
with each other and the impotency of the law is off-putting.

Elizabeth Moss was never my favorite, but she is a competent professional
actor, and she is pretty compelling in this.
