Sean Astin's character is the *beep* of the century

I know he was being kept captive and I have no idea how he was treated but he didn't look like he was getting tortured. So what does he do? He cuts himself and pretty much sentences some rando dud to death because he's sad. Grow the *beep* up, he saw how *beep* up this virus was in that village or whatever. Then he infected the mouse and the bottles of water at the end and just drives away in his little boat. I really felt like he was out to end the world and that makes him not *beep* of the century but probably the millennium. I had such a huge problem with his character. It reminded me of the guy at the end of the cabin in the woods, just *beep* it and *beep* everybody. Ugh

I agree. He was an idiot and beyond selfish. He knew he was a carrier. Even if anyone he knew was still alive, he would have infected them. And he didn't care if he infects most of the world.

Wait, but if this was a prequel to the original Cabin Fever, then how did the virus break out into the woods, if Porter was the only one who survived and he was immune?

He was tortured and his son was dead. He just didn't care no more.

Then he should just killed himself. Stupid bastard, I hated him too. There was no single positive quality in his character whatsoever.
