How about those pathetic 'critics' claiming how great this movie was?

Who are these losers? What were they watching?

'A must watch!'

'The British answer to the Hurt Locker!'

What?! Can you imagine who these pathetic hacks must be? They should be shamed for ever giving another critique that winds up anywhere!

Just disgusting. What a lame piece of crap. Did YOU ever see an 'enemy'?!

You think actual combat is like a Tranformers movie? Why would an enemy expose himself to your fire? You think the enemy is a dumb grunt who stands out in the open hosing off his AK47 and hollering abuse?

The director was an active soldier who certainly has a much finer and more personal appreciation of counter-insurgency operations than you, a teenager fed on a relentless diet of Hasbro/Marvel/DC Comics gung-ho CGI cartoonery.

Perhaps you should see this film again in about 10, no make that 20, years time.

Yes of course actual combat is like a Transformer movie.

I did not know that about the director and I meant him no disrespect, but I stand by what I said. The movie (or maybe the poster?) led you to believe this was going to be an 'action' movie. I saw very little action.

Calling me a child doesn't change the fact that this movie sucked worse than Obamacare.

Petch has no actual combat experience whatsoever. He also has zero background in "counter insurgency"

I can't say that it's "great" but it is different. SPOILERS AHEAD

The soldiers are 180 degrees from the typical war movie. In the patrol when the going got tough, the tough got going but the soldiers in this case weren't tough. A cowardly cry baby private took command away from the captain by the end. The Patrol does show the frustration and anxiety of being in war but unlike other war movies, the soldiers instead of finding their courage, find their way off the battlefield. More disgusting than inspiring. I wonder why Private Smudge joined the army. The captain should have brought that up to him, he knew it was a dangerous job before enlisting. Hopefully, the movie doesn't represent the real UK military.
