The problem is that you converted in Muslims! I guess your ancient ancestors are still spinning in their graves for what you became. At least you were defeated in war with Arabs, where we Europeans might "accept" Islam "voluntarily", thanks to our moronic "leaders" and their multicultural concept. Intentionally or not this movie perfectly reveals "benefits" of Islam.
Aside of that, all orchestrated religions are burden, be it Allahu Akbar-ism, orthodox Judaism, fanatical Jesus-ism or any believe-ism, as Idiotism is common to all. Intelligent rational people do not believe, they know, don't know or try to figure it out. With these I am not interfering with eventual God's existence and personal relations to him.

Well said LGCipher. Iranians were forcefully converted to Islam though. But to this day many Iranians still are Muslim, which is truly disturbing. After 1400 years of tragedy because of Islam, specially the last 35 years under the rule of the Arab-descendant Muslim mullahs, many Iranians still haven't learned a thing and still are Muslim. Sad beyond belief.
I myself am an Iranian, but not from a Muslim family.
An ironic thing about this movie is that it shows Avicenna as a Muslim, Avicenna was not religious at all, and all his life was persecuted for being a blasphemer and having anti-Islamic views. Just like many other Persian scientists of that age which the Muslims blatantly call "Islamic golden age", a ridiculous joke and a theft of Persian heritage and history. Other notable Persian scientists who were persecuted for being anti-Islamic are Zakaria Razi and Khayyam.
