Historical movies should be accurate as possible. They are not fantasies which can say anything.

All for the sake of cheap drama.....

Hebrew was not a spoken language in the 11th century. It hadn't been, for a thousand years. Ridiculous....

Ebn Sina (avecinia/Avicenna) did not committed suicide.
The film is an adaption of a novel. It is not a biography of Ibn Sina, so it's not surprising aspects of his life are changed to suit the story. In the same manner as Hakim Robert Cole never existed. Shock! Horror!🐭

Drama or not and creative/artistic license aside, at least people who didn't know about that, now knows that Ebn Sina did not commit suicide. Thanks to OP for pointing that out.
