trailer music

I know the trailer just came out, but I was wondering if anyone had any insight on the sweeping instrumental music on the later half of the trailer?
Thank you!

reply

Lol. I am looking for the music bit in the first half. The more modern, electronic bit.

Denial is not just a river in Egypt but a frickin' ocean.

First song is "Let Tomorrow Burn". Second song is "Farfalla". Both tracks are from Boomerang!, a Los Angeles based music company/record label.

You are awesome mark-992. Thanks a lot.

The band/group(?) and their music is not to be found on the web.. Where do they exist? :)

I cant find them anywhere :/

I Sympathise with Lars Von Trier.

They only release music to trailer houses and filmmakers....

reply

Ah, so you can't buy or listen to them separately?

I Sympathise with Lars Von Trier.

reply

So, to inquire further because I'm going insane over Farfalla, how do you know these tracks? I can't even find a website for these guys? Do you have a scoop? I'll pay you with a cyber high five! :)

Sorry. I refreshed and it reposted. The company only releases music to trailer houses and production companies.

I found this two sites:

Maybe they know something about the used music?!

reply

Hi there,

The track that's starting @ 01:16 is called Farfalla, I wrote it indeed for Boomerang Music.

Unfortunately it's not available for the public (at least not yet, maybe sometime in the future).

You could follow me on facebook, I'll definitely post it there in case it gets released!

Or soundcloud if you like to listen to other music I wrote:

Thanks,

If your really the guy who made this masterpiece....
Respect! I got goosebumps.

Cant wait for the movie.
I will be in Berlin at the Berlinale and I hope I can get tickets.

reply

Just popping in to approve that Jochem really is the composer behind Farfalla as I'm the one who interviewed him last year for SoundtracksAndTrailerMusic.com (interview mentioned by p-straf) :)

See you at the Berlinale, DarkKnight!

reply

Hello,
I'm really grooving on Farfalla, but god it sounds close to something I've heard before, maybe a classical piece? It's driving me crazy. Could you enlighten me?
