What did Victor say to Darcy? (Spoiler)

At the very end when Victor and Beatrice are leaving what did he say as to why he didn't kill Darcy when he had the chance?? Couldn't hear his response...

I think Victor told Darcy,"I won't kill you because they found a buyer for Twinkies, so they will be made again. I know how much you love them".

I was wondering that myself. I recall Darcy asking Victor,"Are you sparing my life because of my wife and kid?", but I couldn't hear Victor's reply.

- You chilled the wine?
- Had to be chilled. Italian cops.

Darcy asked Victor "Why didn't you kill me? was it because I have a wife and kid?" Victor then replied. "No, it's because they have you".

You know, no one seems to have been able to make out that line. You almost expect Darcy to yell "What? What did you say?" and Beatrice to say "Huh?" Neither my husband nor I caught the line. It should have been reshot and Colin should have enunciated better.

I'm guessing the reason he said "No, it's because they have you" is because he knows Darcy is a good man and a good family man as well. That was all set up early in the film when they showed him explaining to Victor how it felt to have a wife and kid. He didn't want to take away something that he himself had two years earlier.

Thank you. Now I get it.

Yes, me too. It was actually the only decent line of dialogue in the whole movie.

Was very clear to me.

Hey I'm from Germany, so I saw the dubbed version of this film. And when Darcy asks why Victor did not kill him, Victor really says "Because they have you." So the other guys who replied before me are right. I guess the guys who dubbed the film saw the problem and solved it.

Yes, I couldn't make out what was said it either, although thanks for the explanation.

I had to turn sub titles on to know what he said. That was a terribly said line at a crucial part of the movie. It should have been either written differently or said differently.
