The United States Ocean Liner

Fascinating look at the interiors of the SS United States, one of the fastest of the great liners. I didn't know that it had a swimming pool.

I grew up in the 70s when many of these old wrecks and derelict structures from the 40s,50s and 60s were still operational. They reflect the technology and priorities of their age and they seem very solidly built.

Has it been moved from Philadelphia? It looks like it was tied up in the Jersey boneyard.
