Engaged to someone in Jefferson Co, WV?

A friend of mine posted a photo on facebook, of Ernie in Shepherdstown, WV. Husband and I were bummed that we didn't get to see him. We think he's awesome. Well, today another friend just said that her son's teacher is engaged to Turtleman. He goes to a school in Harpers Ferry, WV. How on earth he would meet someone all the way up here is beyond me, but considering he was just in the area, I feel like there might be some truth to this. I asked her if she was serious, and she said yes, and that her older daughter had the same teacher last year, and actually got to meet Turtleman. Any news in the redneck world?

Hmm, that is interesting. Especially considering that the show seemed to sometimes strongly hint that he was sweet over Cole (I think that was her name?) the pig farmer girl. They featured her several times on this show after he first met her, and they always seemed to have sparks flying between them ...

I never got any definite confirmation on this, and I'm not sure if he and this woman are still seeing each other, or got married. Another friend of mine said that her son became good friends with a kid. And when she met that kid's mom, she found out that she was engaged to Turtleman. So, I'm thinking that the kid's mom is the teacher that I mentioned in my original post. This was a couple years ago though. And he's made a couple more appearances in the area since my original post.
