Lead actor

Wow what a convincing actor! I loved everything about him. His very unusual looks captivated me from the beginning.

Unfortunately the movie was very far fetched. I don't think anyone in their right mind would pay big bucks to be infected with herpes on purpose. And the ending was just ridiculous. He made out with her stinkin' dead arm for Christ sakes.

But what a great stepping stone for this young actor! I hope to see him in more high production movies in the future.

I wholeheartedly disagree his one tone demeanor throughout the whole film made me want to vomit. It was obvious overacting. At first he was amazing but after seeing him portray the same pathetic dramatic tortured soul it got old it got annoyingly old annoyingly fast. Saw the same acting in him in X-Men First Class and The Last Exorcism come to think of it

I don't know I think you're wrong.

Obviously the character in the movie is going to be more and more desperate as time goes on without a cure. If you're looking for a similar plot, but with laughs watch Crank.

Also I completely disagree with the X-men First Class comment. I don't see ANY similarities between the two characters. Sure his character in the movie was a sniveling brat, but I don't see the connections in acting.

Besides he has scrawny, lanky weasel type features that are commonly associated with someone who is weak. So obviously he isn't going to play the lead in the next action blockbuster.

I think that there are a lot worse actors out there that have the "same" acting syndrome throughout their careers. Such as Kirsten Stewart or Robert Downey.

I think he did a fantastic job. And I'd like to see all y'all snivel realistically and look horrendous in front of the camera.

You are right :) anyone who refers to anything Caleb did in that film as pathetic, is an idiot. His acting was AAA. writing of the script etc was maybe a bit average.

^This movie came up in my Netflix Q yesterday and I liked the movie and loved Caleb Jones. Don't recall him at all in Breaking Bad, but he is a brilliant actor. Unusual looks, very star quality.

He was in The Last Exorcism and although he wasn't a lead I remember him the most, probably more due to the ending of that movie. He was also in Breaking Bad a couple of times but only as a minor character; but he's definitely out there.
I see sooo many young actors with so much potential but they're stuck in movies that aren't really...doing a hell of a lot for them.
This dude reminds me of Rhys Wakefield a little bit. They're both around the same age and they obviously have talent.
