Guess it's going to be a TV movie. Most Christmas movies, these days, are either direct to DVD or made for TV. It does look like "Santapprentice" is going to be a theatricel release for 2013, though.

It is !!!!
I saw the movie on french TV. It was a pain to watch it until the end. I wanted to give it a chance, but the scenario was insipid, the dialogues were stupid and very bad acting, except Santa Claus and the little girl, maybe. A waste of time.

OK, take a deep breath. First off, It's a low budget-TV movie. Set at the most hokiest, sentimental time of the year. Starring AND produced by a country musician. It's SUPPOSED to be lame!

It blows my mind sometimes on how some people have to look for reasons to get all high and mighty and flap their gums. It's a corny Christmas movie. No one is "promoting" lying to parents. No one is encouraging children not to wear seatbelts or drive a car. You really think your child is lying to u because some kid on tv didn't tell mom and dad Santa was in the barn?!? Maybe if people just sat and watched a Christmas show with their mouths shut and hearts open you wouldn't have that constant need to get your "socks" in a knot. No wonder the world is so messed up. It's getting easier to understand why the fanaticals go to war over religion beliefs when everyday people flip out over t-shirts that say "trophy" Tim hortons changed their Christmas cups and a low budget corny Christmas movie says "shh don't tell mom and dad santa is hanging out in the barn.
