Well Done Horror

Obviously only intended for fans who can tolerate serial killer movies. If you fall into that group, do yourself a favor and watch this film. It has one of the best and original serial killers ever. He really enjoys what he does and is almost likable. I thought the production levels were good, acting was good, and the special effects were solid. Super creepy movie with a really intense ending. Recommended.

Agreed, Seth. This was really well done IMO. The beginning of the film I think might be my favorite part, though the ending was great as well. The opening scene just caught me off guard. The guy behind the camera (David), just seemed so child-like in his excitement and and interest in this poor girl's pain and fear. Her leg seemed to have been somehow ripped off most of the way (hanging on by a thread), or possibly blown off, and all you hear is him thanking her (mixed with his maniacal laughter) while she's begging him for her life.

Best opening scene I've seen in a horror in a long time, or any movie for that matter.

Yes! The opening scene is so brutally realistic and sadistic. It lets you know exactly what you're getting in to. Very intense. Everything about this puts a lot of big budget horror films to great shame.
