Not entirely convinced by Augustine's armpit hair

The armpit hair that actress Soko (real name Stéphanie Sokolinski, by the way) displays in her performance as Augustine doesn't look realistic to me. Given the unusual darkness and thickness of her head hair, her eyebrows, and her pubic hair, her axillary hair should be similarly dark and thick; but instead, what we see is fairly sparse. Moreover, it consists of just a single patch on the torso portion of her armpit, instead of the normal two patches (which can be either separate or largely merged), one on the armpit's torso portion and one on the upper-arm portion.

I can think of two likely explanations for this situation. One is that the armpit hair Soko displays is fake, applied by a makeup artist who was so unfamiliar with real-life female armpit hair that he or she didn't realize it ought to match the darkness and thickness of the individual's head hair and other body hair, and that it should consist of two patches as described above, not just one.

The other likely explanation is that Soko grew out her armpit hair for the role but started too late, so that it hadn't grown out to its full thickness at the time of filming; and on top of that she shaved away the upper-arm patch in the false belief that that was an unsightly abnormality whose absence would not seem unrealistic.

Are you serious with this thread?? Wtf has this world come to when someone is, what seems obsessed, with a woman's armpit hair.
