where the girl who wears glasses, greasy hair in a pony tail, and frumpy clothes. Oh yeah...and a few makeup blemishes.....

who magically transforms into a beauty.

At least this can be attributed to "science," as opposed to movies like "She's all that" where the girl gets a haircut, takes off her glasses and is pretty.

Still...I have to ask, why couldn't they start with a girl who was already good looking and a cheerleader? Is it because she would not be smart enough to be involved in science?
