When that dredloc guy came out and said he was raped my jaw dropped. I'm like that sucks and is very depressng to hear. No wonder hes oout for vengence. He just got out of jail and had alot of rape incidents.
didnt think all the rape jokes were funny. I felt bad for the guy.
The writing for this movie is very uneven, it may have sounded funny in the writer's mind but not translate well when filmed.

That the character got raped was not meant to be funny. It was Charlie's reaction to the situation that was supposed to be funny, coupled with his girlfriend's not actually helping attempt to stop it. And for me, it worked.
